The Guesthouse East is Eastbourne’s most family friendly guest house and is living proof that style doesn’t have to mean compromising on practical facilities for the family.
Each of our spacious, contemporary suites has its own modern kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and pots and pans – so you can feed hungry mouths whenever you need to. But if you don’t fancy self catering all the time, you can opt for bed and breakfast – see our flexible breakfast options.
Some of our family friendly suites can sleep a family of five, with futons, sofabeds and/or pull-out beds giving extra bed flexibility. For even bigger families, or for those families with older children that need their own room, there’s also the option of taking over a whole floor by booking two suites - so please call to discuss your family’s needs.
We’re also extremely baby friendly and can provide travel cots, high chairs, booster seats, bottle sterilisers, baby bath, bouncy chair, bumbo chair, plastic crockery/cutlery and even books /toys for babies and toddlers if you need it. Each room has its own TV/DVD player, so don’t forget to pack their favourite films… although, with the amount of family friendly things to do in Eastbourne and the surrounding region, you’ll be lucky to find the time…
Time out for you – book ahead for the babysitting service!
If you fancy a bit of down time once it’s their bedtime, you can switch on the monitor and head down to the communal dining room to enjoy a takeaway and a glass of well-deserved wine. Or even better, why not book a babysitting service so you can enjoy a proper night out? Fully qualified staff from a nearby nursery either sit in with your little ones, or provide a listening service via your monitor if you’d prefer.
